Disability Confident Employer Commitment & Armed Forces Covenant Pledge
On the 2nd of December 2022 Lift Specialists Ltd, under the direction of our Managing Director Olly Voutt, took another step on its path of improvement, this time gaining recognition as a Level 1 Disability Confident Employer and by pledging allegiance to the incredible individuals who have or are currently serving in the defense of our great country, by becoming a signatory to the Armed Forces Covenant. These steps take Lift Specialists Ltd closer to its objective, as described, challenged, driven and implemented by Olly, who aims to create a modern SME capable of facing its corporate responsibilities through actions, not words.
Olly Voutt, “When I look at our team of employees, all who have families, commitments and concerns with modern life and the challenges faced by individuals, at many different levels and via multiple impacting factors, seen and unseen by those around them. It is important that as an employer, and a person just like them, we as a business accept inclusion, diversity and equality as the norm, and to achieve this we need to break down barriers and recognise that certain individuals, through no fault of their own, need extra support to allow them the freedoms and opportunities everyone deserves.”
